Our Journey Bags come from either The Forgotten Initiative or from community members. These bags are specifically for foster children. It is a backpack or diaper bag that is packed with everything a child would need the first night going into placement. So it is for when the placement happens. It includes a toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, shampoo, PJs, one outfit, a book, small toy, blanket, etc. for age appropriateness. Everything is new. The bags are labeled by gender and clothing size.
