Our work is rooted in dignity and the belief that families caring for children should never have to do it alone.

Attend a special event

Compassion Connection hosts special events throughout the year that offer both practical support and meaningful connection for families. From back-to-school supplies and seasonal clothing events to family picnics and our Secret Santa program, these opportunities help meet real needs while creating moments of joy, dignity, and community. Learn more.

Verification process for new families

If you are new to the Compassion Connection, and you are requesting support for the first-time, we want you to know:

If you are a foster parent or a kinship caregiver you may request support directly from us, with a one-time verification of your license required when you first access the boutique (either in-person or online). After this initial verification, re-verification is not required for future requests. Adoptive parents may also request support directly, with a one-time verification of your adoption decree. For requests submitted by someone who is not a fostering, kinship, or adoptive caregiver, a referral is required. For example, if the request is for a family in crisis, the referral must come from a qualified source such as a social worker, an agency, or a school. To submit a referral, the source needs to email us explaining the family’s need. Once the referral is received and approved by our team, the family will be able to access our services. If you have any questions about the process, please contact us.
